Margie McDaniel Tice

WEST COLUMBIA – Margie McDaniel Tice, 81, died Sunday, July 29, 2012.

A graveside funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 31, at 2:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Todd Sessions officiating.

Born in Langley, SC, Mrs. Tice was the daughter of the late Beatrice Randall McDaniel Eubanks and Melvin McDaniel. Growing up, Mrs. Tice was an active member of Langley Church of God. She was a retired LPN with the Department of Mental Health and a member of Riverland Hills Baptist Church. Mrs. Tice sang on the radio with her husband during the 1950’s. Margie will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.

Survivors include three daughters, Julie Tice (Robert) Poole, Lexington, SC, Lisa Tice (Karl) Reinecke,, Columbia, SC, Susan (Seth) Tice-Lewis, Chapel Hill, NC; a son, Michael D. (Ramon Negron) Tice, New York, NY; five grandchildren, Eliza Guess Shivers, Evan Guess, Maxwell Tice-Lewis, Michael Reinecke, Noah Reinecke; three sisters, Frances Boyd, Waynesboro, GA, Martha Williams, Graniteville, SC, and Mary Gregory, Clarks Hill, SC

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Tice was preceded in death by her husband, Lovell D. Tice and a brother, Steven McDaniel.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association, 3223 Sunset Blvd., Suite 100, West Columbia, SC 29169.
