AIKEN, SC – Mrs. Patricia Ann Nowlin Fuller, 81, has gone to live eternally in heaven in that house not made with hands Monday, March 25, 2013. Pat was born in Bloomington IL., daughter of the late Dr. Owen and Margaret Carson Nowlin. She was a 1950 graduate of Farmer City/Moore High School and graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL in 1954. Pat married Jim Fuller on August 7, 1954 in Farmer City Illinois and they would have celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary this year. Pat and Jim lived in South Miami Florida for 33 years. Following Hurricane Andrew, they moved to Bonita Springs Florida where they lived until their most recent move to Aiken, S.C. in 2005. Pat and Jim are members of the Aiken Horsepower Association and she was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Pat was best known for her infectious smile, positive attitude, sense of humor, love for her husband, children and grand (great-grand) children and those beautiful blue eyes. She always put her family first and loved them with all of her heart. She will be dearly missed by all. Survivors include her husband, Jim L. Fuller, Sr., daughter, Margaret (Tom) Thornburg, Pueblo, CO; sons, Mac (Debbie) Fuller, Winter Haven, FL, Jim (Donna) Fuller, Jr., Sunrise FL.; grandchildren, Justin Thornburg, Jennica Thornburg Clasby, Keaton Fuller, Amanda Lee Capalbo, Michelle Marrero, Riley Fuller; great grandchildren, Mackenzie Caple, Brooklyn Clasby, Jaxon Clasby, Aiden Capalbo, Adam Capalbo; a sister, Sara Brown, Paducah, KY and brother Owen (Nancy) Nowlin, Jr., Cleveland, OH. and several nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Aiken Regional Medical Center for their excellent care and kindness shown to Pat and her family.
